The Benefit Of Taqwaa Allah
The verse was revealed in ‘Auf ibn Malik al-Ashja’i, so that the polytheists captured his son. He went to the Messenger of Allah PBUH and complained to him the situation, and said: The enemy captured my son and the mother is grieving. What do you order me?
Then the Prophet PBUH said: ” اتق الله واصبر ، وآمرك وإياها أن تستكثرا من قول : لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله ” ” Have taqwaa of Allah and be patient, and I order you and her (his wife) to increase of saying: la hawl wala quat ‘iilaa biallah – There is no power or might but with Allah”.
Then he returned home and said to his wife: Prophet Mohammed PBUH ordered me and you to (repeatedly read) increase of saying “لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله – There is no power or might but with Allah”. She said yes to what he ordered us to day. They kept saying “There is no power or might but with Allah”.
Then the enemy was in a negligence of his son. Their son escaped, On his way to his escape, he saw some a female camel and rode away with it, and then many other camels of the enemies came following him.
In some other narration of this story says that he took their sheep (enemy sheep) and brought them to his father, which was four thousand sheep.
‘Awf did not stop until he reached his home and when he reached, he called out to his family, on this very moment his father exclaimed after hearing his son’s voice saying:
“By the Lord of the Ka’bah! This is my son ‘Awf!”
When his mother heard his voice, she shouted continuously saying: “Subhan’Allah! My son has escaped the clutches of the enemy!”. But with their surprise it was not only ‘Awf that came but also many camels.
After ‘Awf was able to rest, Malik went to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam and narrated what had happened.
The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam then said: “Treat these camels the way you treat your camels.”
Allah SWT revealed the verse:
( ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب ) [ 2 – 3 )

There is no power or might but with Allah is one of the paradise treasures
Narrated Abu Musa: We were with the Prophet on a journey, and whenever we ascended a high place, we used to say, “Allahu Akbar.” The Prophet said, “Don’t trouble yourselves too much! You are not calling a deaf or an absent person, but you are calling One Who Hears, Sees, and is very near.” Then he came to me while I was saying in my heart, “La hawla wala quwwatta illa billah (There is neither might nor power but with Allah).” He said, to me, “O ‘Abdullah bin Qais! Say, ‘La hawla wala quwwata illa billah (There is neither might nor power but with Allah), for it is one of the treasures of Paradise.” Or said, “Shall I tell you of it?”
